Truth Has Arrived, Falsehood Has Perished’: Field Marshal Asim Munir’s Historic Warning to Enemies of Pakistan

RAWALPINDI, May 10, 2026 – In a thunderous address at the General Headquarters (GHQ) today, marking the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” (The Battle of Truth) , Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, declared that the nation has achieved an “unprecedented victory” – and issued a bone-chilling warning to India and all hostile forces: any future misadventure will be met with “extremely dangerous, far-reaching, and painful consequences”.

A Battle of Ideologies, Not Just Borders

Standing before the nation’s top military leadership, including the Air Chief and Naval Chief, Field Marshal Munir redefined the nature of the 2025 conflict.

“Marka-e-Haq was not merely a traditional war fought between two countries or militaries,”Munir declared. “In reality, it was a decisive battle between two ideologies – truth versus falsehood. And thanks to Allah, truth has arrived and falsehood has perished.”

Quoting a Quranic verse, he added: “Indeed, falsehood is bound to perish.” The audience of senior military officials, gallantry award winners, and families of martyrs erupted in chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” as he spoke .

The ‘Fatah’ Strike: 26 Indian Targets Destroyed

In one of the most explosive revelations of the speech, Munir detailed the scale of Pakistan’s retaliation.

According to the Field Marshal, Pakistan’s indigenous Fatah missiles and the Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully identified and obliterated more than 26 enemy military installations deep inside Indian territory .

“India’s ambitions far exceeded their capabilities,” he asserted. “They were under the false assumption that they could change the balance of power in the region by subjecting Pakistan to military aggression and diplomatic isolation. Pakistan will never allow this to succeed.”

He revealed that the enemy suffered heavy human and material losses, the consequences of which India will continue to bear for years to come. The Field Marshal proudly stated that Pakistan’s defense is now “completely impregnable” against any external aggression .

Diplomatic Triumph: Pakistan at the World’s Table

Field Marshal Munir emphasized that Pakistan’s victory was not just military but diplomatic. He highlighted several unprecedented achievements:

1. The Saudi Strategic Defense Pact
Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement was signed with Saudi Arabia. The central clause states: “Any aggression against one country is aggression against both.” It is the first military pact of its kind between an Arab Gulf state and a nuclear power, signed at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh after Pakistan demonstrated its military credibility .

2. Peace Talks with Iran
The Field Marshal revealed that Pakistan is hosting historic peace negotiations between the United States and Iran, with both sides expressing full confidence in Pakistan’s leadership. He specifically thanked former US President Donald Trump – who called him “my favorite Field Marshal” – for repeatedly acknowledging Pakistan’s mediation efforts .

3. Ceasefire in Lebanon
Pakistan successfully contributed to ceasefire efforts in Lebanon through active diplomatic engagement, further cementing its role as a regional stabilizer .

“Pakistan is not just a military power,” Munir stated. “We are playing an effective, responsible, and impartial role in global diplomacy. The world trusts us because we speak the truth.”

JF-17 Thunder: The World is Buying Pakistani Power

The speech also celebrated the global recognition of Pakistan’s defense industry. The JF-17 Thunder, once dismissed by critics, is now a hot commodity on the global market. Major deals have been signed with Libya, and countries including Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Iraq, and Sudan have entered talks to acquire the fighter jet .

“The aircraft that was mocked is now the aircraft the world is buying,” Munir declared, highlighting that Pakistan’s defense export contracts for 2025 crossed nearly $10 billion – the highest in the country’s history .

A Stern Warning to India and Afghanistan

The most anticipated moment of the speech came when Munir turned his attention to future threats. He accused India of now resorting to the “heinous strategy of terrorism” after failing in conventional warfare .

Directly addressing the Indian leadership, he warned:

“Let me make this absolutely clear. Any future misadventure – any – will have consequences beyond limited conflict. We will not just respond. We will ensure the response is so punishing that it serves as a lesson for generations.”

On Afghanistan, he urged the Afghan authorities to eliminate terrorist centers and sanctuariesoperating from their soil, vowing that “every drop of innocent Pakistani blood will be avenged” and the war against terrorism will continue until the elimination of the last terrorist .

The Future is Here: Multi-Domain Warfare

Moving beyond traditional battlefields, the Field Marshal unveiled Pakistan’s readiness for the wars of tomorrow.

“Modern and future wars will not be won by tanks alone,” he explained. “They will consist of multi-domain operations involving long-range weapons, drones, cyber capabilities, and artificial intelligence.”

He announced that a Defence Forces Headquarters has been established to align Pakistan’s armed forces with modern warfare requirements, ensuring the nation is fully prepared for hybrid and cyber threats . The armed forces are being equipped not only with modern weaponry but also with new thinking and advanced military strategies .

The Nation Stood Like a ‘Steel Wall’

Field Marshal Munir paid glowing tribute to the resilience of the Pakistani people.

“Every Pakistani stood firm in defense of the homeland during the Marka-e-Haq,” he said. “The entire nation united like a wall of steel in support of the country’s armed forces.”

He praised the Pakistani youth for countering enemy propaganda and described their response as “exceptional” . He also honored the martyrs of the conflict, including unarmed women, elderly people, and innocent children who embraced martyrdom, stating:

“We consider the sacrifices of our martyrs a sacred trust, our strength a responsibility, and our success a blessing from Almighty Allah.”

Reaffirming Kashmir and National Sovereignty

The Army Chief reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, vowing to continue extending political, diplomatic, and moral support on every front .

He concluded with a powerful message of national invincibility:

“Pakistan’s green crescent flag is a symbol of hope, while its armed forces remain organized and fully prepared at every moment. Pakistan was invincible in the past and, God willing, will remain invincible in the years ahead as well.”

The Bottom Line:

  • Military Dominance: 26 Indian targets destroyed; JF-17 Thunder proved superior to imported Rafale jets, causing a 7% drop in Dassault Aviation’s stock .
  • Historical Diplomacy: Signed a defense pact with Saudi Arabia, brokered US-Iran peace talks, and achieved ceasefire in Lebanon .
  • Economic Impact: Defense exports reached nearly $10 billion; JF-17 in high demand globally .
  • Future Warfare: New multi-domain warfare headquarters established for AI, cyber, and drone operations .
  • Final Warning: Any aggression will be met with “extremely dangerous, far-reaching, and painful consequences” .
